We experience loneliness at higher degrees even while we’re more connected through social media and other technology.
Everyone feels alone from time to time. We experience moments of FOMO (fear of missing out) or not being invited to an event. We can even feel alone in a crowded room of friends.

We Are Never Alone
The truth is, we are never alone. God is always with us, and He will never leave us.
God is with us. It may sound like just a cheesy phrase to make us feel better, but it’s true. We may not feel like it or we may dismiss such a simple-sounding truth, but there’s nothing more powerful.
The God Who made the mountains and oceans is with you. The Creator of the sunset desires a real relationship with you. Think about that for awhile -- not only are you not alone, but you have the God of the universe by your side! In any difficult moment, you can be confident knowing God is with you, He is for you, and He wants what is best for you.
Spend time talking to God about your loneliness. Nothing is too big or small to bring to Him in prayer. Take time to be in His presence and feel His peace and comfort.

Jesus came to earth and lived like we lived. He went through many of the same experiences & feelings we’ve had. He was publicly rejected and abandoned by his friends. At one point, Jesus asked His friends to pray for Him in a time of distress, and do you know what they did? They fell asleep! Imagine how alone He felt in that moment.
Jesus has been alone. He knows what you are going through, and He is with you in every moment, ready to comfort you.

The Bible talks about loneliness and how God is with us. Here are 7 verses in the scriptures to help you when you feel alone. Have faith in these words because God’s promises are true!
Put them in places where you go when you feel lonely. Write them on your bathroom mirror with a dry erase marker. Make them the lock screen on your phone, or tape them on your computer. Memorize these scriptures in order to recall them whenever you feel alone. Say them out loud often until they are deep within your heart.

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. -Psalm 145:18-19
